What we do not collect

We do not ask you to create an account, and there are no sign-up, contact or payment forms on this website. We do not set advertising or tracking cookies, we do not use fingerprinting, and we do not sell personal information.

Analytics we use

We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand how the site is used. It is designed to work without cookies and without building profiles of individual visitors. It records page views with information such as the page address, the referring website, browser and device type, and a country-level location. Vercel describes how it works in its documentation at vercel.com/docs/analytics/privacy-policy.

On top of page views, we record these specific actions so we can see what visitors look for and which CARE platforms and guides help them:

• Exam searches. The text typed into the exam finder or the search page, which we lower-case, shorten to 60 characters and strip of anything that looks like an email address or a long number; the state selected, if any; the number of results; and whether the search was made from the dropdown, the state tab or the results page.
• Searches with no useful result. The same details, when a search finds nothing or only a closest match or a not-yet-available product.
• State selections. Which state a visitor chooses.
• Referrals to CARE platforms. When you click a link from this site to a CARE platform: which platform, which part of this site the link was on, and the destination page path.
• Guide clicks. Which guide you opened and from where.

These events are not linked to your name, email address or any account. Please do not type personal information into the search box.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, we do not send any analytics events, page views included.

Campaign parameters on links to CARE platforms

When you click through to a CARE platform, we add short campaign parameters to the link, such as utm_source=careexamprep, the section of this site where the link was, and which platform it points to. They contain no personal information. They let the destination site recognize that the visit came from careexamprep.com. The CARE platforms are separate websites with their own privacy practices, and their policies apply once you arrive.

Hosting and server logs

This site is hosted by Vercel. Like any web host, it processes technical request data, such as IP address and browser details, to deliver pages and keep the service secure. We do not use that data to identify visitors.

If you email us

If you write to us, we receive your email address and whatever you include. We use it to reply and keep it as long as we need it for that purpose.

Links to other websites

This site links to the CARE platforms and to other sites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your choices and questions

You can use this site without giving us any personal information, and you can turn off analytics by enabling Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control in your browser. For questions or requests about this policy, email info@carealestate.com.

Changes

If we change what we collect, we will update this page and its date before the change takes effect.
